Shake it and Break was originally written by Charley Patton back in 1929 under the Paramount label. After hearing how catchy it was, we decided to do a punk revival of this song and Charley Patton who put out many songs through out his career.
lyrics
You can shake it and break it
Hang it on the wall
throw it out and the window, before it falls
My jelly, my roll, sweet mama don't let it fall
Everybody have a jelly roll like mine
I live in town and I ain't got no brown
I want it now and when the Sun goes down
My jelly, my roll sweet mama don't let it fall
You can shake it and break it
Hang it on the wall
throw it out and the window, before it falls
My jelly, my roll, sweet mama don't let it fall
You can snatch it, you can grab it, you can break it you can twist it any way that I'd love to get it
I blow this town and I want it now, when the Sun goes down
My jelly, my roll, sweet mama don't let it fall
I ain't got nobody here but me and myself and I stay blue all the time
I want it now and when the Sun goes down
My jelly, my roll, sweet mama don't let it fall
You can shake it and break it
Hang it on the wall
throw it out and the window, before it falls
My jelly, my roll, sweet mama don't let it fall
You can snatch it, you can grab it, you can break it you can twist it any way that I'd love to get it
I blow this town and I want it now, when the Sun goes down
My jelly, my roll, sweet mama don't let it fall
